Lesson description
In this early years session the focus is to inspire children to write. Previously children had found clues in the playground including droppings, bones and footprints and had to decide what creature left them. The class agreed it must be a dinosaur, making this the topic of the lesson. A range of activities including messy play encourage the children, boys in particular, to extend vocabulary and have a go at writing.
