Outstanding teaching, learning & assessment in action (Year 4 lesson)

After the tutor introduction, the teacher explains her lesson objectives and methodologies. The initial focus of the lesson is a mental task, revisiting the 6 times table. This develops into an actual problem solving experience where the class are preparing to run stalls at a charity fundraiser.
The second clip shows them reflecting on their learning, whilst the third clip is the provision of extra support with the TA for those that found the learning difficult.
The activity asks participants to reflect on the good points and to discuss next steps for subject leaders, SLT monitoring and school CPD.
