What is Edu-Wash all about?
There are two main ways to improve learning: either we implement methods and policies which have been shown to be more effective, or we can ditch those which, the evidence shows, are ineffective. This video looks at 25 things to avoid in education.
They range from the silly: playing them Mozart; to the expensive: reducing class size.
The film is in 3 sections of about 15 mins: great for use in staff meetings and training sessions as a source of discussion. (It is also useful to managers to view in private, so they can quietly drop expensive mistakes!)
