Reception Phonics: TA intervention group

The clip below shows a TA with a group of reception children working on developing their phonic knowledge and skills.
The activity give some exemplars of questions that can be used by teaching assistants to challenge children and promote age related discussion.
Participants are encouraged to discuss and record suitable questions and challenges to meet pupils needs in developing phonics.
