Consistency across schools for high expectations

It is essential that high expectations are set out from the earliest years in a school, and are built upon in subsequent years with age appropriate changes.
The majority of good and outstanding schools have agreed non-negotiables, which include behaviours, celebrations and rewards, expected sanctions, presentation of work, and other routines.
These are usually shared as part of partnership with parents and carers through the school website and prospectus.
