Maximising learning time & getting day started

Complicated routines mean that learning time can be lost during the school day. Most schools display a differentiated challenge on their whiteboards as the children come into school to maximise the learning time.
Routines after morning break and lunchtime allow children to reflect on their previous work for five to ten minutes before the next lesson starts.
This session includes a tutor explanation, written and video ideas to maximise learning time, and some suggested prompts and activities.
