Lesson description
In this lesson a new phase five sound is introduced – the E sound covering the letters EY which come at the end of a word. Children have previously looked at phase 3 sounds EA / EE and phase five E split paragraph. This session looks at alternative ways of using E sound in words. Activities give children of different abilities the opportunity to explore the sounds in a variety of ways, through outdoor games, messy play and recording and writing sounds.
